About
Welcome here!
My name is Mary Ellen and I am the face behind Peace of Wild Flower Studio!!
I began my entrepreneurial journey back when I was a kid. I was always creating, dreaming and experimenting, which makes Peace of Wild an absolute dream. I have always felt destined to be a small business owner and with all of the years of exploring different mediums, it has allowed me to hone-in on flower pressing! The process is slow, meaningful, and requires a ton of patience. That is what I love about it! I find Peace in working with Wild things.
My mission behind Peace of Wild is to create meaningful pieces that fill your home with a piece of the outside world. Whether it is a custom frame made from your wedding bouquet, a memorial piece from a loved one’s funeral, or a print from my flower designs - I hope my work adds depth, personality and a handmade touch to your home. I value quality as much as beauty and that is at the forefront of all business decisions. I am so happy you have landed on this flower corner of the internet.
A little more about me….
I am from Greenville, SC and have found my way back to this lovely city where I currently live with my sweet husband and two mischievous cats.
My husband and I fully renovated a RV motorhome and lived on the road traveling around the US for a year after we got married.
My favorite flower is Lily of the Valley (peep my wedding bouquet) and my favorite pressed flowers are Cosmos and Ranunculus.
I am an enneagram 9w8.
I lived in France as a kid, which gave me love of traveling and experiencing new cultures when I get the chance.
I am a lover of rollerblading, pickle ball, savory food, lavender lattes, good chats around a campfire, live music, FaceTiming my 92 year old grandma, a good trash reality TV show, polaroid pictures, and dancing around my kitchen while cooking.
I am too competitive while playing board games..or any game. My mom refused to play monopoly with me after the age of 10…sorry mom ;)
I am a night-owl that wishes she was an early bird, but will quite literally never be able to be one.
